Estate Account

The P.R. paperwork is completed and the next step is to open the estate account. My credit union here in VA will allow us to open the account here even though the estate is in MI (this is what I was calling about on Thurs AM, Uncle Woody).
Since Uncle Woody is taking care of the lawn-mowing, trash-hauling, brush-clearing at Aunt Norma's house, I will take care of the paperwork related to the estate account and getting Aunt Norma's monetary assets transferred into the account (Chemical and Wolverine bank balances, Dow stock, etc.).

Ran into trouble with setting up the account in VA (my credit union reneged) and into trouble setting up account in MI also without both Uncle Woody and I being present since we are both listed on the P.R. paperwork.
So after an initial glitch, John Carras (lawyer) is taking care of setting up the account at Chemical Bank in my name so we can proceed as planned in the above posting. Uncle Woody and I discussed this by phone Tuesday, so we are again moving forward!
