Memorial Gardens
Diane and Pat. Walt received a call from Midland Memorial Gardens today. They told him there was a mistake and burial permission was signed for the wrong plots. We will be putting the forms in the mail tomorrow and you can sign and send them back.

Re: Memorial Gardens
OK So apparently the staff there ARE as incompetent as they appeared to be. Do we have confidence that they actually bury people where they are supposed to? I will sign and return as soon as the forms come. Thanks.

I called Memorial Gardens today to find out about getting a headstone. Our old friend Kendra told me that they range in price from $700 to $8,000. I asked her to price something that is like mother and dad's & she said they are bronze and it would run about $1900. She suggested that the best way is to have someone come by and pick one out. She can also try to match the ones that are already there. My question is: does someone in Michigan want to go by Mem. Gardens? I would be happy to ask her to choose one or two that would be most like the ones there & then someone can say yes or no. I don't know how many decisions need to be made. I was thinking that it should be simple: just name, birth date and date of death. If anyone has other ideas, please suggest them. As I recall, there is not a lot of space for wording anyway. I will pay for it with the life insurance money, if that is OK with everyone.
I also asked about a grave blanket or wreath and either can be done. I thought I would order one (my own money - not insurance) unless someone has a better idea.
