I think giving the framed certificate/award to the co-worker's is a great idea! Thanks for getting the death certificate to the law office---could you also make sure they get Uncle Woody's Driver's License #? That's the only other piece of info they need for the preliminary paperwork. Thanks!!
and, yes, I'll admit I'm a little bummed at the lack of regalia associated with being a PR--maybe you'll let me wear your Queen of Hope crown every once in a while

I agree - giving it to the office -if they would like it - would be nice. I would love to see a picture, but that will serve me just fine since, as promised, I am scaling back on stuff. Wendy, I am glad you could go to ceremony with RD & sorry your dad is having problems again.

I saw Mrs B's note about the certificate/award yesterday and then neglected to respond to it. I would agree wholeheartedly that giving it to the office would be a very nice gesture. I don't feel a need to hold any more certificates, but seeing a picture from the ceremony you and RDW attended would be nice.

...and here's where we're at:
1. I've received my P.R. paperwork and am faxing and mailing that back today
2. John is looking into the specifics of setting up the estate bank account
3. John gave me guidance on how to do the estate inventory which is the next step we are responsible for
4. We need to find out the amts of any balances on the credit cards that were canceled so we can pay them off once we have the estate acct open to do so
5. John will communicate with Wayne Smith directly about what paperwork needs to be done re: taxes (I gave him Wayne's contact info)
