Walt and Uncle Dick

Walt took Uncle Dick to the Lawyer today. Dick signed the paperwork for the PR. They explained the idea of a trust for him and he was agreeable. Walt received the appraisal on the house at $35,000. All of the junk is gone. Pam and Willie filled the dumpster and then they (Walt and Willie) made more 2 trips to the dump with 2 vehicles. Walt and I made 1 more trip the following week. The ladies from work came and took all of the items from the living room except the books and items to be kept. Libby said that the people from Pinecrest were just thrilled. One lady in particular just couldn't get over it. They gave all the bears to the Sheriff's Dept to give to children they deal with. Ada Potter has all of the Rebecca's things. We have 3 more boxes of books to take to the Library. Walt contacted the guy about the bikes and he has taken them. He will refurbish them and give them to deserving people. Walt took the Certificate of Service for Norma to the Treasurers Office today, they were very appreciative.They assured him that they would return it to him if they take it down for some reason.

Wow! That's a whole lot of progress!! Uncle Woody, I guess we need to plan what our next steps will be once we've signed our P.R. papers, so give me a call as we planned and we can get a plan underway

I second Shelley's WOW! That is a lot of progress. I got the package (flower cards, donations, etc.). Will split up with Pat and we will get all of those done. I noticed there was a thank you for another donation from John Reder in there! I don't think there is anything else I am supposed to be doing right now. If so, someone please feel free to nudge me.

I will make Shelley's WOW unanimous! A lot of good progress made. I received my form to sign off on the PR issue yesterday, signed and returned it this morning. I'll work with Diane on getting the thank you cards taken care of. I also posted information yesterday which I got from the Midland CPA regarding tax preparation issues which I had promised to follow up on. When I need to do anything further, let me know.
